Dr Mia is a London-based Consultant Dermatologist with extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin and hair conditions. A Cambridge medical graduate, she has trained and worked at leading dermatology centres and is a Consultant Dermatologist at the Royal Free Hospital, practising privately at Welbeck London and 108 Harley Street.
Previously the Skin Cancer Lead at the Royal Free Hospital, Dr Mia has particular expertise in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, mole checks, skin surgery and hair loss, alongside all aspects of general dermatology.
Combining specialist expertise with a warm, personalised approach, she takes time to understand your concerns, provide a clear diagnosis and recommend evidence-based treatments tailored to your individual needs.

Qualifications
Dr Mia Jing Gao earned her medical degree at the University of Cambridge including a Masters in Physiology and Development, before going on to study clinical medicine at University College London, graduating with distinction.
She completed extensive dermatology specialist training at leading centres in London in order to join as Consultant Dermatologist on the General Medical Council specialist register.
Dr Mia is also an NHS Consultant at Royal Free Hospital, where she was the Lead clinician for the largest Skin Cancer Service in London.
